Warehouse Manager
Hands-on leader who directs, leads, and participates in formulating and administering supply chain management policies while developing long-range goals and objectives. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for developing and deploying lean material flow strategies at the plant while supporting all warehouse functions including inventory management and material tracking processes in Oracle EBS. Will be responsible for development of innovative solutions to solve supply chain problems. Leads all procurement activity for raw materials, equipment and machinery, supplies and services in a manner consistent with the company's business plan and budget requirements.
Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization.

  • Incorporates Lean principles into the supply chain management process.

  • Ensures that production line is delivered on time, Customer shipment is done on time, within expected cost performance.

  • Secure that logistic requirements are met in product design, supply chain developments and related quality performance

  • Establishes benchmark data related to inventory turns, market pricing activities and proactively manages department to meet or exceed company goals

  • Drive commissioning of logistic processes (transport, packaging flows and field logistics activities) against minimum costs (both capital and operational expenditure)



  • Applies company methodologies and tools to design distribution and/or transportation operations

  • Collaborates with Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions

  • Manages multiple and complex Supply Chain projects

  • Provides resource planning based on priorities and demand signals

  • Provide analytical support for development of operational pricing and transportation solutions.

  • Utilizes a collaborative approach, developing relationships with various stakeholders, developing credibility for the department and buy-in from other functional departments. Ability to negotiate through conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization, customers, and suppliers.

  • Responsible for establishing product planning strategies/inventory targets and implementing within the ERP system

  • Establishes and reports clear metrics, aligned with organizational policies, to manage the supply chain processes and results in all areas.

  • Recommend continuous improvement opportunities for existing clients

  • Determine optimal inventory positioning by modeling inbound shipments, transshipments from warehouse to warehouse, and outbound shipments to customers to optimize cost and service level to customers


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in related field (i.e., Supply Chain/Logistics or Industrial Engineering) and three plus years' experience or equivalent experience in planning, logistics processes and quality in a high-speed environment with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Six Sigma, and/or Lean Certification

  • Strong sense of urgency and customer focus.

  • Ability to develop and utilize knowledge of a broad range of processes and products.

  • Proven ability to hold self and others accountable, drive improvement initiatives, analyze and act on relevant data and metrics, participate in and manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, computer, problem solving, decision making and organization skills.

  • Must be a reliable, conscientious team player.


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
